Decaf rose Black Tea has classic teatime comfort and a soft, garden fresh Rose character - romantic, aromatic and ready to drink any hour.

Decaf via c02 method.

Mild malt and a clean backbone are balanced by real rose petals and natural rose essence for a floral perfume and honeyed sweetness. Since the caffeine has been removed in a food-safe process, you get the body of black tea without the buzz - making this blend a favourite for afternoons, after-dinner wind-downs or for anyone sensitive to caffeine.

In the pot it brews clear amber with a soft velvety texture; Served hot it is smooth and elegant, and over ice it is a floral cooler without the need for heavy sweetening.

It also makes a great gift for brunches, baby showers or a quick self-care break when a pretty aroma and soft finish make you feel at home. Served neat, with milk or biscuits - Decaf Rose Black Tea is a light everyday treat that has fragrance and balance without being heavy.

Brewing

Western style (mug/pot)

2-3 g/1 level tsp per 250 mL.

95 degC water

2-3 minutes, then taste

Re-steep: 1-2 times; add ~45-60 sec

Gongfu style (gaiwan/teapot)

5-6 g/100 -120 ml.

95 degC water

The first infusion should be 10-15 sec; For 3-5 infusions, add 10-15 sec.

Iced / cold brew

5-8 g/L cold filtered water.

Refrigerate for 6-8 hrs, strain. For flash-iced: Double strength hot - pour over ice - brew.

Yes - if pre-brewed gently reheat; avoid boiling. It may also be chilled. Refrigerate immediately and consume within 24 hours.

How do I store it/how long does it keep?
Keep cool, dry and away from light. It will keep for 4 years if stored properly but is best enjoyed sooner for maximum aroma.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are there any discounts available?

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
