Decaf Blueberry Black Tea has a soft, familiar base of decaffeinated black-tea with a hint of ripe Blueberry for a bright, friendly cup at any hour. 

The leaf is decaffeinated with food-safe CO2 to remove most caffeine without losing body and gentle malt.

That gives blueberry notes room to shine without going syrupy sweet. The liquor is a clear amber when brewed hot; aromas of blueberry jam and soft honey over clean tea; It makes a fruity cooler that rarely needs sugar iced.

This is a versatile "anytime" tea: Relaxed enough for evenings, lively enough for afternoon breaks and a hit with pitchers at picnics.

If you like your black tea light and without the buzz - this blend is balanced, aromatic and tidy - no heaviness, no fuss - and reliably delicious whether brewed Western-style in a mug or cold-steeped overnight for summer.

Brewing

Western style (mug/pot)

2-3 g/1 level tsp per 250 mL.

95 degC water

2-3 minutes, then taste

Re-steep: 1-2 times; add ~45-60 sec

Gongfu style (gaiwan/teapot)

5-6 g/100 -120 ml.

95 degC water

The first infusion should be 10-15 sec; For 3-5 infusions, add 10-15 sec.

Iced / cold brew

5-8 g/L cold filtered water.

Refrigerate 6-8 hrs; strain. For flash-iced: Double strength hot - pour over ice - brew.

Decaf contains trace caffeine, but not decaf.

Fruit acids - and hibiscus/rosehip if used - may worsen reflux in some people.

Does it get reheated?
Yes - if pre-brewed gently reheat; avoid boiling. And it tastes best when chilled. Refrigerate immediately and consume within 24 hours.

How do I store it/how long does it keep?
Keep cool, dry and away from light. It will keep for 4 years if stored properly but is best enjoyed sooner for maximum aroma.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
