Brewing

It is rather easy to brew Oolong Osmanthus Tea which makes one enjoy its subtle floral accents and strong oolong taste:

Water temperature: Please heat water to close to 85-90°C (185-194°F) to minimize the bitterness in the oolong and too harsh floral tones.

Steeping time: Please take 1-2 teaspoons of oolong osmanthus tea leaves and place inside the teapot or infuser for about 3-5 minutes in order for the tea to steep. Increase or reduce the steeping time based on how dark or light you want your brew.

Enhancements: This tea can be considered richer than most other teas and may not require anything extra to enjoy it. However, about a drop of honey, or a little piece of lemon can support the flavor and increase fruity and floral notes.

Iced tea option: In the case a person is craving iced tea, he or she should prepare tea just like he or she always does, cool it down and pour it over the ice. Garnishing with slices of fresh fruit or adding mint helps to create another dimension of taste.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
