Common Questions

What should I use per cup?
Take 1 / 4 - 1 / 3 cup (250 ml) resin granules at a time.

How long should it be soaked for?
Pour boiling hot water (90 -95degC) over the resin and let steep for 10-15 minutes. The resin might not dissolve completely - that's normal. If desired, strain the drink before drinking.

Reuse it?
Yes - often the same resin is re-steeped once or twice until it loses its smell and flavour.

Does it get reheated?
Sure, but do so slightly below boiling temperature (70-80 degrees Celsius). Avoid repeated reheating to preserve aroma.

Is it caffeine free?
No. Frankincense Tea has no caffeine.

Any added ingredients?
No additives, fillers, or flavorings in 100% pure Boswellia sacra resin.

Where do I store it?
Keep cool, dry, and away from direct sunlight and moisture. Resin is durable but should be sealed to keep fragrance.

Does it melt entirely in water?
Not entirely. Einige particles will remain - that's normal for resin infusions. Flavor compounds release into the water during steeping.

Can this be blended with another herb?
Yes. Frankincense goes well with calming or upbeat herbs like chamomile, holy basil, or lemongrass.
