Frankincense Frereana (Boswellia frereana) is a rare and highly prized resin from the Al Madow mountain ranges of Puntland, Somalia, and is locally known as Maydi.

This particular resin was prized for centuries for its sweet, citrusy and slightly minty scent - it was used as an all natural chewing resin and as a premium ingredient in perfumery and wellness apps.

Skilled nomadic families tap older Boswellia trees with traditional hand tools to collect the resin tears that form. It is then hand cleaned and sorted for purity of resin.
