Liquorice Tea (Glycyrrhiza glabra and licorice in America) is rich in phytoestrogens. What this means is that this tea helps the body carry out estrogen related tasks associated with breast tissue growth and increase the levels of prolactin within the body.

The benefits don't stop there - with liquorice being an anti-inflammatory, able to help with digestive problems, and can reduce PMS symptoms and hot flashes. Also helps sore throats due to the above properties and it's natural overall taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and silky with sweet notes.
Finish: A long, sweet finish with a hint of liquorice warmth lingering.
Liquor colour: Very dark brown - deep amber.
Lovely with: Ginger, peppermint, fennel, or all blended to sweeten herbal mixes.

No. It has no flavors, colors, or sweeteners added - just pure liquorice root.

Does it get reheated?
YES - reheat gently if pre-brewed - avoid boiling. It may also be cooled. Refrigerate immediately and consume within 24 hours.

How do I store it, and how long does it keep?
Keep cool, dry, and away from light. Best within 18-24 months for peak sweetness and aroma, but suitable beyond this time if stored well.
