Decaf Blueberry green tea - a berry-bright riff on Green Tea for sipping when you want to skip the buzz. The base leaf is gently decaffeinated to remove most caffeine while preserving the fresh snap and soft sweetness of the tea.

Decaf via c02 method.

Into that clean canvas drop real blueberry pieces and some natural flavour - for a real blueberry lift without syrup heaviness.

If brewed cool, the liquor is pale straw-gold with a light blush; the texture is satin soft and the flavour is like ripe berries over tender green leaf. Hot, crisp and tidy - great between tasks or after meals.

It makes a refreshing fruity refresher that rarely needs sweetening over ice; A squeeze of lemon will tip the berry toward a brighter spritzy register. As the tea is decaf, it suits late afternoons, evening wind-downs and anyone who is sensitive to caffeine-yet it's still fresh and fragrant.

Brewing

Western style (mug/pot)

2-3 g/1 level tsp per 250 mL.

75-80 degC water

1 1/2 -2 minutes, then taste.

Re-steep: 2-3 times; Add 20-30 sec per round.

Gongfu style (gaiwan/teapot)

6 - 8 g per 100-120 ml.

75-80 degC water

5-10 sec for first infusion spread out over 5-7 infusions gently massage in between each infusion.

Iced / cold brew

5-8 g/L cold filtered water.

Refrigerate 4-6 hrs; strain. For flash-iced: Brew double strength for 2-3 min at 80 degC and pour over ice.
