In Tea Life Australia, we use Earl Grey tea of sustained quality made of Earl Grey Lavender tea sourced from natural sources. Tea leaves selected for the blend come from the top notch tea regions and form a rich base for the oil of light bergamot.

Tea is then prepared by infusing it with lavender flowers highlighting its fragrance and providing a mild taste for the tea. This makes it the ideal tea for connoisseurs who want a floral finish.

Brewing

Water temperature: Boil water to around 90-95°C (194-203°F) as this will allow the dark tea leaves to unlock and awaken the calming aromas of chamomile and lavender.

Steeping time: Place in either a teapot or infuser 1-2 teaspoons of earl grey lavender tea and allow it to steep for 3- 5 minutes or so, and adjust the temperature based on your preference as well. If you would like for the beverage to have a floral aroma that is prolonged for a longer period consider steeping it at a longer intensity.

Enhancements: Earl Grey Lavender tea on its own is quite satisfying but accompanied vanilla is rich and delectable it goes well with the herbal infusion giving it a smooth and soft texture whilst honey warms at the finish. It also complements the lively and zesty aromas of bergamot quite nicely.

Iced tea option: For a more refreshing iced version, brew the tea and keep it in the refrigerator, then pour it over ice. Putting some fresh lavender or lemon slices to it makes the drink soothing and cool.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
