Dragon Well Tea also known as (Longjin Tea, 龍井茶) is a higher end green tea grown in the Zhejiang province of China. With a fresh green tea taste not too dissimilar to our First Harvest Green tea yet very unique in its own way.

A large leafed green tea that is harvested in early spring, smooth and balanced flavour that won't easily bitter. Produced by hand and contains Vitamin C,  Amino Acids and high levels of catechins.

Brewing

Ingredients:

1-2 teaspoons Dragon Well (Longjing) leaves 250 ml (1 cup) water at 75-80C (not boiling).

Instructions:

Put the leaves into a teapot, cup, or glass.

Gently pour hot water at 75-80C over the leaves.

Let the tea steep for 2-3 minutes for the first infusion.

Strain out the leaves or sip directly; the traditional method lets them settle.

Re-steep 2-3 times, adding about 30 seconds to each brew.

Tip: Water that is too hot makes the tea bitter; keep it well below boiling for the best flavour.
