A 14 day two step approach is taken with our caffeine free detox tea. Firstly the liver and kidneys gain the support they need to more effectively cleanse the body and aid in weight loss. If they are not functioning correctly, other cleansing may go to waste, which we feel is a factor missing form many detox teas!

Burdock root then helps to cleanse the blood, cleans up the bowels with the aid of Senna, with everything being topped off with Chaga Mushroom which is currently one of the worlds leading superfoods.

Please take a two weeks on and two weeks off approach with this tea, twice a day.

Brewing

Steeping a tablespoon (not heaped, just mid sized) for 3-4 minutes is best for this tea, with water at a near boil. Do not drink more than two weeks at a time due to the Senna contained within.

Rooibos – Aspalathus linearis
Senna – Senna alexandrina (sometimes listed as Cassia angustifolia in older texts)
Burdock Root – Arctium lappa (sometimes Arctium minus)
Turmeric – Curcuma longa
Ginger – Zingiber officinale
Pepper (Black Pepper) – Piper nigrum

Taste Profile

Aroma: It is earthy and roasted with deep mushroom tones, nutty dandelion, and warm spice of turmeric and ginger.

Taste: Strong, complex flavors: roasted dandelion and chaga for the base, rooibos for sweetness, and ginger-turmeric spice with a little pepper kick.

Mouthfeel: Palate: Full-bodied, robust, dry, with rooibos notes.

Finish: A warm, earthy, roasted nose with a mild, spicy-sweet finish.

Liquor colour: Reddish-brown with golden highlights.

Lovely with: Adding a slice of lemon or honey to sweeten the roasted-spice profile may brighten the wine.

Yes, reheat gently if the pre-brewed. avoid boiling. Can be served cold. Refrigerate immediately and consume within 24 hours.

How do I store it, and how long does it keep?
Seal tightly in an airtight container and store in a cool, dry place in a dark place. Best eaten within 18-24 months for maximum flavour & freshness.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are there any discounts available?

We're quite generous with our loyalty programs, and the best way to take advantage of them is to create an account here. Also if you subscribe to our newsletter you'll gain access to members only discounts, rewards and an initial 10% off first order.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
