A great little traditional cold and throat remedy tea that contains most organic herbs you'll be wanting to help get you back onto the path of wellness as soon as possible. Non-drowsy, safe, natural and effective.


Liquorice Root - Provides protective lining, and helps with inflammation.
Slippery Elm Bark - A tried and true germ killing ingredient that soothes irritation and swelling.
Marshmallow Root - Great for dry coughs and the pain and swelling of the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract.
Yarrow - A good immune booster.
Peppermint - While helping to reduce congestion with Menthol, Peppermint can also just naturally perk you up a bit and help release you from the low energy daze often associated with colds.

Recommended 2-3 times a day. Can be re-used one time.
We advise using our tea bags with this blend, as the slippery elm can make steeping and stirring more difficult.

Health Benefits

Throat & gut soothing - Slippery elm and marshmallow contain mucilage that coats and soothes an upset throat, esophagus, and stomach lining.

Digestive comfort: Peppermint & yarrow (traditional carminatives which could help with cramping, gas, post-meal discomfort); liquorice (mild demulcent & natural sweetening).

Respiratory support - slippery elm, marshmallow, liquorice - may ease a dry tickly cough.

General wellness - The blend contains polyphenols as well as traditional anti-inflammatory support of yarrow / peppermint / liquorice.

Cautionary Notes

Blood pressure, heart & kidneys - Liquorice may increase blood pressure and decrease potassium. Avoid with hypertension, heart or kidney disease oedema, and if you are taking diuretics / corticosteroids / digoxin / other heart medicines.

Pregnancy & breastfeeding - Avoid unless advised by a healthcare professional. Yarrow, liquorice and slippery elm are generally not recommended in pregnancy.

Bleeding & surgery: Yarrow might increase bleeding risk. Stay away from anticoagulants / antiplatelets (such as warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel) and also quit 1-2 weeks before surgery unless your physician tells you otherwise.

Medicine timing Slippery elm and marshmallow may hinder absorption of medicines & supplements. Take this tea 2 hours before taking medications.

Blood sugar & blood pressure medicines: Liquorice and marshmallow may affect glucose control; monitor if you take diabetes medicines. Antihypertensives may interact with liquorice.

Reflux & gallbladder - use lightly if symptomatic - avoid if serious gallbladder disease exists.

Avoid if allergic to Asteraceae plant (yarrow) or mint-family herb (peppermint): Refrain if any adverse symptoms occur.

Close tightly, keep cool, dry, and away from light. Eaten between 18 and 24 months before use for maximum freshness and flavor.

How much is shipping?

Couriers Please Shipping is $5.95 for orders under $60 and free for all orders over $60.

Australia Post is always at cost. Orders going to Po Box or Parcel Locker address may be locked in to Australia Post.

What are your transit times?

We dispatch within 24-48 hours (sometimes much faster) and from there we'll see 1-3 days transit to most metro locations within Australia excluding WA and NT which can take a week or so.

We also offer express post which will help speed up the process, at cost with no handling fees. These are always sent as priority and packed first.

Are there any discounts available?

We're quite generous with our loyalty programs, and the best way to take advantage of them is to create an account here. Also if you subscribe to our newsletter you'll gain access to members only discounts, rewards and an initial 10% off first order.

Are your teas certified organic?

Up until recently we were certified organic but due to rising administration costs and the difficulty of maintaining certification we've put this on hold for now. Our suppliers and farms remain the same without any change but just now label things are organic, pesticide free or wildcrafted.

This also allows us to maintain our current pricing without any increases which we feel is more important at this time.
